La Dame Derrière is a potent mix of sensuality, soft curves, and bisexual angst.
She burst onto the burlesque scene in 2017, bringing both high drama from her years as an opera singer and down n' dirty grinds from her experience as a blues dancer.
Dame has appeared all over BC since her debut, most notably winning Queen at the 2022 Oregon Burlesque Festival and appearing as the 2019 Fresh Face Feature at the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival.

Dame has been performing since she was a little girl putting on shows for the neighborhood in her backyard, so it was no great shock when she decided to pursue the most dramatic performance art, opera.
While in opera school, Dame discovered partner dancing, and that sparked a love affair with movement, starting with blues and swing, and expanding into ballroom, tango, and beyond. The core principles of connection and intimacy she learned in those early years still impact her dance style today.
Then, at the tender age of 21 looking towards life after university with a degree in opera and asking "now what?", Dame was cast in her first ever burlesque musical. This show with Too Fly Productions set her on a new path as she fell in love with this glitter-fueled art form.
Since then, Dame has made quite the splash on the burlesque scene, performing as the Fresh Face Feature in the 2019 Vancouver International Burlesque Festival, in the inaugural Isle of Tease burlesque festival, and with many producers, including April O'Peel Productions, Geekenders, and the Vancouver Burlesque Company.

Competed in the Queen competition with their dance partner, The Lady Chiffon. Crowned Queen of the Roses for their sensual and romantic portrayal of queer love.
The Pin-up Posse combines the elegance of classic burlesque, vintage cabaret, and high-level dance. Mentored by Headmistress Portia Favro.
The Fresh Face Feature is a highlight in the VIBF Showcase for performers with less than two years of experience.
